- Maintain lab instruments & equipment
- Troubleshoot instrument issues & maintain service contracts
- Train & enforce lab rules
- Maintain an up-to-date chemical inventory
- Ensure necessary supplies are stocked
- Ensure hazardous & biological waste is properly disposed of
- On-board new lab users & train on instruments
- Recordkeeping for compliance purposes
- Maintain the undergraduate teaching lab
