UNC Charlotte is North Carolina's urban research institution. Our campus is located in the piedmont of North Carolina, just two hours from the mountains and three hours from the Atlantic Ocean. A large public university with a small college feel, more than 27,200 students consider UNC Charlotte’s 1,000-acre campus their home away from home.
The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is located in the EPIC building on UNC Charlotte's research campus. Whether you’re visiting for the first time as a prospective student or are attending an event on campus, our driving directions and parking information will get you where you need to go.
Visitors should park on the fourth level of the CRI deck. Parking fees can be paid at the kiosk at the bottom of the stairs on the first level. The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is located on the 3rd floor of the EPIC Building. Both the CRI Deck and the EPIC building (72) are illustrated on the map below.
PHYSICAL ADDRESS (FOR MAPPING):
EPIC can be accessed from Highway 29 (Tryon Road) using the J.W. Clay Boulevard stoplight as shown by the red arrow in the figure below. Park in the CRI Deck, and follow the brick path that approaches the EPIC building from the rear. Pass through the courtyard, through the double doors and take the elevators to the 3rd floor. Take a left out of the elevators and the CEE office suite will be immediately on your left.
